Ошибка setupnew setup cpp 140

скачал клиент с вашего сайта начал устанавливать,а он выдает ошибку помогите,может стоит скачать какой нить файл т.к. я снова немогу скачать клиент инет непозволяет
вот собсна сама ошибка:

стоит Windows7 если это важно)

На каком месте «выбрасывает» ?
Собственно, сам ставил клиент под Вин7, и никаких подводных камней не обнаружил.

в самом начале установки как тока setup.exe запускаешь
через Data файлы тоже ошибку выдает

Значит, скачали не полностью.
Чем качали ?

скачивал оперой но вроде скачен полностью ибо размер совпадает

Контрольные суммы — это значение, рассчитанное за специальным алгоритмом, при помощи которых можно узнать, не «теряется» ли информация при передачи.

Но если вы качали http://www.gamershell.com/download_53076.shtml — отсюда, то проверить это можно разве что по размеру скачанного файла.

Значит так, приёмов осталось всего несколько. И скоро дойдём до истины.

1. Попробуйте при отключенном / удалённом антивируснике.
2. Радикальный вариант, но должно спасти 100% — замена ОС. Но для начала — обновление.

стабильнее работает НОД ставьте его, где брать ключи в пм дам ссылку…

проблема не в антивирусе а в в другом вот тока в чем..

Загрузите все обновления, доступны для вашей ОС

I’m trying to install CAW. After I downloaded it, I tried to install it. All I get when I try to install it is:

I’ve downloaded it twice now from the official site too.
It’s NOT a virus. I know this. It cant be. It’s what I’m being told by some n00bs though.

This error is similar to the one posted by Lavenkitty in this thread. Seeing this error twice on the forum within the past 48 hours is odd. I’ve never seen it before so any guidance is appreciated.

Oh my goodness! I went back to Hastings earlier for the third time to try downloading it again (cause their internet is faster) i came back home to install it and it works! I used firefox to download it again too, nothing different.
Although now it says my version of sims 3 and CAW aren’t compatible and i’ll have to reinstall it again. I have the ambitions EP too. I forgot, is there a patch for this yet? Haha…..I wonder how many times i’m going to have to drive back to Hastings. Thanks. Here’s my DxDiag anyway (i hope this is what was needed…):

Actually you were supposed to save the information as text and paste the whole thing into a post here. Glad you have it working but it’s unfortunate you had to uninstall Ambitions to get it to work. I just wanted to post that i got this as well, and NONE of the fixes i could find worked for me. What i found to fix it for me was to clear up space in my C drive, as it only had 1mb ofspace left…dunno if it was just me but wanted to say it just incase. Good Luck if anyone even still has this problem..or if anyone gets it again.

Главное, чтобы на жестком диске хватало места.

ПОСЛЕ УСТАНОВКИ ИГРЫ :
В папке Crack (находится на диске с игрой) лежит генератор ключей (кейген) – копируем ключик, продолжаем установку игры.
После того, как игра установится НЕ ЗАПУСКАЕМ ее, а идем все в ту же папку Crack, берем оттуда ВСЕ СОДЕРЖИМОЕ и копируем в папку:
Program Files? Electronic Arts? The Sims 3? Game? Bin, выскочит предупреждение, что такой файл уже есть- соглашаемся на замену. (Т. е. берем содержимое из директории СКАЧАННОЙ ИГРЫ и переносим в директорию УСТАНОВЛЕННОЙ игры, в диалоговом окне появляется запрос о замене — соглашаемся! )
При запуске игры (Sims 3 запускается через ланчер ( Sims 3 Launcher) игра не должна иметь доступа к интернету. Перекрыть ей доступ можно через отключение модема ( я банально выдернула модем из розетки) .

При запуске ланчера нажимаем большую кнопку слева и наслаждаемся Симс 3.

Для более одаренных :
ЕСЛИ SIMS 3 НЕ ЗАПУСКАЮТСЯ:

98% что вы просто что-то сделали не так.

— Если у вас проблемы с лицензионной версией – свяжитесь с техподдержкой Sims 3.

— не забудьте произвести замену

— перезагрузите компьютер (еще раз)

— переустановите драйвера на видеокарту

— поставьте самую последнюю версию DirectX

— воспользуйтесь поиском по сайту и по форуму: возможна ваша проблема уже обсуждалась

I’ve seen something similar this week here but the code is a bit different. From everything I’ve read it has something to do with a corrupt setup.exe or setup.dll file.

I highly suggest posting this error along with your DxDiag in the Technical Forum if you haven’t. Nich or SimGuru_BGY needs will needs to respond on this one.

EDIT: Just to add.
I would put that error in the title for sure. I know Nich has posted in the other thread so he will recognize it.

I know what you mean. I’m not familiar with this error as I’ve never had any issues personally. You and the other simmer have similar errors, both downloading and trying to install different things. But tbh I’m not so sure on this one (in regards to the game), so on this one I’ll let the Mods/Guru call the shots. However, I’m doing a little bit of research on it myself.

EDIT: For some reason I have a feeling this won’t be the last time I see this error.
