Conversion
To convert, paste a string in one of these color formats, for example, «208124», into the input field and click on convert. The result will be in the section Conversions, and the following sections will provide you with further details on the color. Some color formats use the same notation, and the conversion will guess the composition of the search query. As an example, if you try to convert the string «122°, 75%, 51%» it could be an HSV or HSL color, the conversion will assume HSL in this case. As this could lead to wrong conversions, you can define which format you are passing by wrapping your color string in brackets with the format in front. The search string «HSV(122°, 75%, 51%)» will give you the correct HSV color as there is no need to guess the format. Other examples would be «CIELAB(47.15, -46.31, 40.66)», «CIELCH(47, 61.629, 138.719)», «YXY(16.1350, 0.2999, 0.5522)» and «CMYK(0.75, 0.00, 0.72, 0.49)».
Details
In the details section, you first get a summary of the color and, if available, a description like «dark muted red». You can see the color distribution in different formats. For example, in the RGB format, you get to know the amount of red, green, and blue in your color. At last, you get brightness and saturation gradients of your color in 10% steps. So if you need a brighter or darker version, you can pick it from here.

RGB
RGB color mode is a color standard in industry, which is used to obtain various colors by changing the three color channels of red (R), green (G) and blue (B) and superimposing them on each other. RGB is the color representing the three channels of red, green and blue, and this standard includes almost all the colors that human eyesight can perceive, and is one of the most widely used color systems.
RGBA
RGBA is the color space representing Red (red) Green (green) Blue (blue) and Alpha. Although it is sometimes described as a color space, it is really just the RGB model with additional information attached. The colors used are RGB, which can belong to any of the RGB color spaces, but Catmull and Smith proposed this indispensable alpha value between 1971 and 1972, making alpha rendering and alpha synthesis possible. The name alpha was derived from the Greek letter used in the classical linear interpolation equation alphaA + (1-alpha)B.
ARGB
ARGB is a color mode, which is the RGB color mode with an Alpha (transparency) channel attached to it, commonly used in 32-bit bitmap storage structures.
HSL
HSL is a representation of the points in the RGB color model in a cylindrical coordinate system. These two representations attempt to be more intuitive than the geometric structure of RGB based on a Cartesian coordinate system. It is one of the most widely used color systems.
HEX
HEX is a color represented by a 6-digit hexadecimal value starting with «#». 6 digits are divided into 3 groups of 2 digits each, which represent the intensity of red, green and blue colors in turn
